Alien Snot

“Have you ever seen alien snot, I can tell you some information.” “Yuck”, alien snot, Room 13 made fake alien gooey snots. We were making green smelly snots.

Our materials were 1 cup of cornflour,a little bit of water and green food colouring. We also need a bowl,spoon. Only three ingredients, easy.

We made our one with groups of four or five.Step 1, we made 1 cup of cornflour then stir.Step 2, a little bit of water into the bowl.Last step,is the green coloured food. Mix them all together and then it’s gooey.

Putting everything back was just fun. Washing my hand I could not get all the snot on my hand.Now I had to clean up with the other boys till it’s clean.While we were cleaning up the rest had to do some works.

Immersion Assembly

Hooray! It is finally Immersion Assembly a new topic.It is my favourite school assembly.

I was sitting in our school hall on the floor listening to Mr Burt talk. Mr Burt introducing the topic, I was excited to hear it. The topic was Outta This World.

Teachers dressing into ballerina I thought they had a movie for us to wacth. Team One’s dress was so cool.My best dress was Team Four.

My best item was team five. Team Five’s item was a star wars movie. Their was sort of like the real one but with their own faces.

I think this might a little bit like last year.Last years one was Mighty Manners.Mighty Manners is about the planet we are living at so far.

I’m so exited to write and learn more things about planets just like an astronauts teacher.I just want to stay in this topic because it is great.My best term.

I hope to learn who was the first one to stand on it.
The thing I really want to learn about Jupiter.My last planet the sun.

Space Shuttle

With sweat pouring off my forehead, I walked into the space ship looking around at all the cool stuff. I sat on the chair nervously ready for ignition. Shaking with fear I was exited to explore to space.

Preparing to launch I shake and shudder like I will die. I felt like I’m nearly heating to death but I had a very bad stomach shuddering. Waiting to explore I looked out the window to my family.

Counting down,3,2,1, the sound came, Ignition!, I was shaking and screaming.”It’s going too fast”I shouted.Trails of smoke making lines all the way to the sky. Hearing the fire stop, the rocket cut through the sky, ”We’re in space” I excitedly said.


In space I think it is going to a great time.I hope I will learn more about planets.

Warrios

Did you watch the league game Warriors playing against Manly Sea Eagles Sunday night?

Getting ready to play in the grand finals, pride and passion set in for our mighty warriors. Singing the National Anthem you can see how nervous they were getting shaking their leg. Even the Manly Sea Eagle team were a bit nervous for this match.

Manu Vatuvei super speed to the try line I was so happy that they have scored a try.Losing against the Manly Sea Eagles I try to cheer up. Warriors lost but I was proud of them that they have did a bit well.

That was a game but they done a bit well. I wish they can do better next time when they play another game.

Sonny Bill Williams

Singing the national anthem Sonny Bill Williams was ready to challenge the wallabies. Running to the try line he passed the ball to his teammate.Dan Carter kicking the ball he ran and caught it.

Aussie Rules

“Yes,we are playing Aussie rules today”Do you have AFL training every Thursday?Well room13 does.We have coaches that are really good at playing Aussie rules.

Blustery winds blew into our faces.I was frustrated with the weather was changeable.As we tried to play, the wind got stronger and stronger like a cyclone, we could barely begin.

When the wind was calm and still we learnt some skills like a drop punt and bouncing the ball. These skills was to help us learn how to play Aussie rules.
Our coaches were making sure that we were doing it properly. The sun came out
and it was time for a warm up called the jumper bumper.

Running and jogging we played kick baseball. The game got boaring as we had to switch over.When I caught the AFL ball I started to cheer up.The game got really fun and exciting.

The day was a cool day. When the training was finished, we had learn
t so much through the afternoon.
