Let's Cook

These two photo's is about food. Over 250 schools of country competes in this challenge. Click on this link to take you to the Let's Cook Website In this competition it is so cool. So far 200 schools all over the country is starting to join this competition.

Liu Xiang

Getting ready for action, my country wanted me to win. “GO”. Off I ran. “Oh man they're gonna kill me if I don’t win this race, I have to win this” “Come on Liu xiang you can do it” I said to myself.

Sprinting down the track as fast as I could, I finally I came to the first hurdle. “Boing, I jumped over the hurdle but........Nek Minute,I crashed and I hurt myself.

Ouch, My achilles tendon were hurt really badly. “NOW, MY COUNTRY IS GOING TO KILL ME”, I said in my head.

Sitting on the track, I went hopping out the track with embarrassment. As I went inside, someone came to me and said, “You are not allowed to go in the tunnel Liu Xiang”. I turned around and hopped back down the track.

Can I make it to the end? As I was nearly there, I stopped and kissed one hurdle. Making it to the end, two of my competitors came and helped me. Finally a rest. “I think I should retire”, I said to myself.

Cross Country 2012

Walking to the starting line, I could feel my nerves shaking. At the reserve, the 10 and 9 year old boys were ready for action. “On your marks, get set, GO!!!”. I heard Mr Burt say go. As I ran, I was hoping I would come first. If I did come first I will be proud of myself.

As I was running through the slippery bridge, I almost fell over.Down the the bush, it felt really tired. When are we going to finish. Running through the bush, I saw light. “Yay, I am nearly finish.

Puffing through our school, I saw the finish line. Finally I finished the race. When I went to sit down I saw Frank passing the line. “Frank I beat you”, I said to him. “I don’t care”, he said.

When we were finished we were washing our legs because our feet was dirty.    

Modern Pentathlon

Room 13 has been working on presentation. This presentation is about the Modern Pentathlon. At the top of the Presentation, has a video of me and Shalom performing the presentation. It has a song to.

Usain Bolt

After years of training, it was Usain Bolt’s time to shine. Could he win? Waiting to dominate the race, Bolt was ready for action.

The naturally gifted athlete, Lightning Bolt, outran all the others. Speeding down the track with great strength, the world’s fastest man finished powerfully. Will he win the gold?

This superstar athlete is the world’s fastest man of all time. He is a deserved winner. Will he return to the track?

Panasonic

Wow!!!! Panasonic is really cool. Did you know that one person from Panasonic came to our school - Point England school.  The reason why Paul from Panasonic came to our school is because we made a storyboard for a competition and we were in the top 20. Now we have to make the storyboard into a movie.

Well, I was one of the people that made the storyboard. It took a long time to create only a storyboard. But I did not do that much work. However, together  we worked hard to win the camera and now make the movie.

On behalf of room 13 I want to say thank you for coming to our school assembly. Thank you for the camera and the microphone. Panasonic is so AMAZING!!!! Thank you very much Panasonic!!!!!!

2016 Olympic Medals

This is a medal that is  the back and the front. This is what I think that the 2016 medal for the Olympics is going to be like this. The front one has two silver ferns, that supports NZ. It also has NZ on it. The back of the medal is the flag of New Zealand and another two silver ferns.

Cross Country 2012

Really? Cross Country training again? That’s boring. Plus why do we always have to do cross country every year?. Teachers are so mean. Why oh why?

3...2...1.... OFF WE GO!!!! We all sprinted and sprinted. Running near the teachers, my legs were dying and getting sore.

Do I think I will do another lap? I was still going till the end. Suddenly I started jogging. I saw Jordan calling me. We both started racing together.

Catching up to a lot of people, I giggled when I went past them. As I was nearly there, I ran past my friends. Down the road, back again to school, I started to slow down.

Finally I reached to the end.Walking around the courts, I was thinking about how the real cross country is going to be like. Maybe all the way to the shops. Or to Mt Wellington.

The thing I hope that is going to happen next time is that it rain in the next 6 months. I will be so `good if that happen. NO Cross COUNTRY!!!!!
